BBCT founder and owner/operator Gary Payne has over 35 years of experience in concert production. For the last eight years Gary has been Technical Director & Head of Audio for both the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside, CA and the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center in Big Bear, CA. Now you can have the same high quality production services for your concert or special event!
The BBCT technical staff is well-trained and ready to bring the talent you need to make your production a success. They work with the latest in sound reinforcement technology, including “flown” loudspeakers which offer better sound and sight lines for your audience. We also provide liability and workers compensation insurance.

GARY PAYNE
Owner/Engineer
ary B. Payne is the owner of Big Bear Concert Techs, where he continues to grow doing business with small to medium groups. He has been working in the Entertainment Industry for over 35 years as an Audio Engineer. Previously, he was the Technical Director, Production Manager, Head Audio Tech, and the Building Steward for the Riverside FOX Performing Arts Center where he handled over 500 concerts at the Fox. Since 1987, Gary has worked with Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center in several capacities, such as a sound engineer, production manager, and primary contractor for upgrading their Sound, Lighting, Video, and Paging Systems.
PATRICA GALLAGHER
Business Manager
Patricia A. Gallagher is our Business Manager handling our financial department, personnel, and promotions. She has been working in her field for over 22 years. In addition, she handles any box office needs you may have. She has been involved with Big Bear Concert Techs since the inception. Patricia is an exceptional employee that puts the company–client relationship first.
ANDY GAY
Lighting Director
Andy S. Gay started working in the industry 14 years ago as a Set Carpenter and Stage Hand. After spending several years learning every aspect of Theater Tech, eventually, he found himself doing lighting and sound for live concerts and plays. Andy spent the last 7 years working at the Fox PAC in Riverside, CA where he honed his skills as the Lead Lighting Director/Designer. Since the middle of 2010, he has been part of over 1400 concerts, plays, or events (200+ per year) until today where he holds the title of Assistant Technical Director still at the Fox PAC in Riverside, CA.
